1. Exercise the ACER BTP-331 Laptop Battery
   Do not leave the replacement ACER BTP-331 battery dormant for long periods of time. We recommend using the laptop battery at least once every two to three weeks. If a battery has not been used for a long period of time, perform the new battery break in procedure described above.
2. Prevent the BTP-331 Battery Memory Effect
   Keep the battery healthy by fully charging and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks.
3. Keep the BTP-331 Batteries Clean
   It's a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. This helps maintain a good connection between the battery and the portable device.
4. ACER BTP-331 Battery Kits Storage
   If you don't plan on using the battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Li-ion batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember to recharge the ACER laptop batteries before use.

• A new ACER BTP-331 Laptop battery usually maintains a discharged condition with very low capacity. It is highly recommended to fully charge new BTP-331 battery packs before using. You can refer to the users' guide of your electronic device for charging instructions.
• A new ACER BTP-331 pack needs to be circled (fully discharged and recharged) three to five times to reach its optimum performance.
• Rechargeable ACER BTP-331 battery will undergo self-discharging when left unused for a long period of time. Thus, it should always be stored in a fully charged state and kept in a cool, dry and clean place.
• To maintain the optimum performance of a ACER BTP-331 battery pack, it is highly recommended to circle (fully discharging and recharging) it at least once a month.
• It is normal if a new BTP-331 battery gets warm when being charged or used. However, please pay special attention if the ACER battery BTP-331 laptop pack becomes excessively hot. This may indicate there is a problem with the charging circuit of the electronic device. Please consult a qualified technician if necessary.
• New ACER BTP-331 laptop battery are hard to be charged. Sometimes, your electronic device may indicate a fully charged condition about 10 to 15 minutes when the new battery pack is being charged for the first time. When this happens, remove the battery pack and let it cool down for about 10 to 15 minutes then repeat the charging procedure.
